Job Summary

The Hansford Sensors Group are looking for ambitious individuals seeking to begin a career in Manufacturing. The Group has grown significantly over the past years and has established Subsidiaries in Europe and the USA.

If you are looking for a new or change in career with GCSE's grade C and above or A' levels and may not wish to attend University or looking for a new career challenge, then we may have the opportunity you are seeking.


The current role will be situated within our electronic assembly department, where you will learn the role of product stenciling and electro-mechanical testing and packing of all sensor products.


As the Group continues to grow, we fully expect further opportunities within the Group to become available across many disciplines from Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain and Finance.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Application of stencils to all products at a high quality, often working with small difficult products.
  • Production of stencil printing and labels to weekly production schedules
  • Testing of all varieties of vibration sensors.
  • Support packing tested sensors and products ready for shipping to our global customer base
  • To work independently and efficiently as directed by management.
  • Follow all health and safety requirements as guided by the Company
  • Follow work methods and practices in line with the Company Quality Systems.
  • Responsibility for continued personal development.
  • Promote professional, courteous and respectful behavior always.
Qualifications and skills

  • Attention to detail is critical.
  • A competent level of English and Mathematics.
  • Ability to learn new techniques with minimum training and supervision.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Ability to work in high pressured environment
Details

  • Full time permanent position
  • Competitive wage based on experience.
  • 20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
  • 8.00am 4.30pm Monday to Friday
