_Are you wanting to help shape the lives of children with learning difficulties but don't feel you have the relevant qualifications?_


Milk Education are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work throughout Key Stage 1 and 2 in a Special Educational Needs Primary school based in Huyton, Liverpool.

All of the children in this setting currently holdan Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) and have Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

The role is full-time with working hours from 8:30-3:30pm.

If successful, you will work under the guidance of the teaching staff to support access to learning. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the normal teaching area.

  • Previous experience working with children, or young adults, with ASD and complex needs (Voluntary experience welcome)
  • Confidence supporting pupils with different abilities and SEND requirements
  • Good interpersonal and communicational skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to complete this)
  • Enthusiastic attitude towards inspiring children

  • Sports Coaching
  • Care Worker
  • Army Cadets
  • Psychology graduate
  • Tutoring children with SEN
  • Youth Worker
  • Any previous experience with special educational needs
