Milk Education are working in partnership with a primary school in the BD10 area of Bradford, who are looking to recruit a skilled Learning Support Assistant with experience of supporting children with Autism.

Required for January 2023 and onwards, we are looking for Learning Support Assistants with an interest in working with pupils with Autism and associated disorders.

All pupils have significant learning difficulties and complex needs. The range of abilitiesstretches from Engagement Level to lower National Curriculum levels. This is a full time role, Monday-Friday and would be the hours of 08:30-15:30pm each day.

Experience working with children, vulnerable adults or individuals with SEND in last 2 years
Able to deal with challenging behaviour
Ability to assess and accommodate individual learning needs of student

The requirements:

An understanding of strategies required to form strong working relationships with young people
Experience working with young people or vulnerable adults in the last 2 years
Sensitive to the varying needs of young people and individuals
Genuine passion and belief in the potential of every student
Experience personal or professional working with SEND
