    About Us:

    We are Nudge Education, focused on turning around the educational experience for disengaged young students. Our goal is to provide life-changing support and guidance to children who are disconnected from education, ensuring they thrive in a supportive environment that nurtures their individual talents.

    We specialize in personalized interventions tailored to each student and aim to broaden their horizons beyond traditional education methods.

    Last year, approximately 90,000 young individuals in the UK were persistently absent from educational settings, and this is a trend that needs to be addressed.



    Who We're Looking For:

    We are seeking compassionate and innovative Practitioners who value inclusion and can create safe spaces to reignite students' passion for learning. The key to our approach lies in building strong connections with our students and never backing down in the face of challenges.

    We need individuals who can think creatively and inspire our students to see the value in education, regardless of their backgrounds.

    Your work with our students could be life-changing, whether you have professional experience or personal exposure to similar situations. What matters is the impact you can make on their lives.


    The Role:

    You will work on a 1:1 basis or with the support of another practitioner in non-traditional environments, leveraging your local knowledge to design effective interventions for students.

    Adaptability and student-focused decision-making are crucial in this role, and you will have the support of a strong network and resources provided by Nudge Education.

    Collaborate with like-minded professionals to make a real difference in the lives of young individuals.


    Requirements:

    • Available during daytime hours, Monday to Friday.
    • Consistent weekly availability for stability in student sessions.

    Duties of Nudge Minds Practitioners:

    • Designing interventions to support academic and therapeutic engagement.
    • Reporting student progress, behavior, and safeguarding concerns.
    • Conducting risk assessments to maintain student safety.
    • Staying informed about education trends and official guidance.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • QTS or recognized teaching qualification.
    • Recent Safeguarding qualification.
    • Experience with students with special needs.
    • Background in therapeutic disciplines.
    • Skills in de-escalation techniques and working with youth.

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Building relationships with students in challenging situations.
    • Effectively communicating with various stakeholders.
    • IT proficiency and knowledge of learning disabilities.
    • Understanding of the National Curriculum and key stages.
    • Having the passion to work with disengaged children.

    Job Type:

    Zero hours contract

    Pay: £15.00-£25.00 per hour
