A permanent Payroll Manager job opportunity based in Slough


Client Details


An industry leading and highly acquisitive business who are recruiting for a Payroll Manager due to an extended period of growth and success.


Description

The key duties for this role include:

  • Take full responsibility for all payroll processes and procedures for Multiple UK Payrolls
  • Manage a small team, ensuring all payroll processing is completed within timescales
  • Check and authorise prepared payroll reports before submission for payment
  • Ensure all payroll information is submitted to external payroll provider in a timely manner
  • Oversee statutory calculations and processing for SSP, SMP, SPP etc.
  • Resolve payroll and pension queries and issues, and provide payroll advice and support to all employees within the group
  • Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders and Senior Management team
  • Work with systems integration to continuously improve payroll processes and on boarding
  • Manage and maintain all current employee benefits

Profile
Able to take full responsibility for all payroll processes and legislation

Previously worked within a Payroll Management position

Strong systems skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise changing workloads, deadlines and projects

Strong communication skills

Strong stakeholder management ability
