Tax Assistant

Hitchin

Up to £25,000 (DOE)

AJ Chambers is working on a brand-new Tax Assistant position, based in Hitchin, for a top Boutique firm of chartered accountants.

The successful applicant will focus on developing their personal tax skills, gaining exceptional experience, as well as full study support for the ATT qualification.

The Role:

Preparation of selfassessment tax returns for individuals and partnerships, P11D's and assistance with general tax compliance matters.
Interaction with both clients and HMRC.
Ensure that professional ethical procedures are adhered to.
Manage and update the inhouse database for client details.
Existing ATT part or full qualification would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
You will have a willingness to proactively study and develop taxbased skills.
Should possess a high level of IT proficiency and the ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel).
Familiarity with CCH software would be useful.
