My leading chemical manufacturing client is looking for a Laboratory Manager to help manage all their laboratory operations, R&D and analytical lab work.

This is a fantastic role for an entrepreneurial and experienced chemist, adept in analytical techniques,looking for an opportunity to push the business forward, and dabble in a vast array of skills and opportunities.

This role would also be fantastic for an experienced Laboratory Manager / Team Leader that wants to have the freedom to run their own lab and theirown R&D.


In this role you will be responsible for the management of key areas such as; sample analysis, R&D, daily log and equipment records, lab consumables management and supply, lab health and safety, maintaining company guidelines and ensuring quality and actingas a point of technical support.


Due to the advanced nature of this role, you will need to be familiar with analytical chemistry, in particular ICP(preferably AES), GC, UV-Vis, conductivity and wet chemistry (mainly titrations).

This will need to be preceded by a chemistry related background.
You will need to be R&D minded, happy to take responsibility for tasks and ensuring their completion on time. You will assist with daily QC operations, so any experience of this will be highly beneficial. Being a lead role, your communication will need tobe strong, both written and verbal.
