My client is a large manufacturer and have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their team.

The role requires an experienced professional salesperson with a strong mindset, willing to travel extensively as needed, including overseas.
It reports to the Managing Director, also working closely with the Internal Sales Team and the well-established Aerospace Technical Sales Manager

Business Development Manager - Job Role:

Creating strategic and tactical plans to successfully reach new business opportunities
Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them
Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services
Building relationships with new clients, leading to a sustainable sales revenue stream
Cooperating with the Sales Team in maintaining relationships with current clients
Preparing client presentations e.g., PowerPoints, Brochures and Website content
Taking tender opportunities from RFI through PQQ to full tender award
Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients including exhibition work
Developing a strong understanding of Company products, competitors and positioning
Collaborating with design and sales teams to ensure that requirements are met
Working with Senior Managers to manage risks and grow profitable sales revenues
