Production Planner


Location:
Leeds


Salary:
£30k-£35k

My client is a local manufacturer that are looking for 2 production planners to join their team.


Production Planner - Job Role:

  • Assist with monthly stock takes
  • Develop and maintain detailed schedules in collaboration with Operations.
  • Updating of schedules from daily production figures
  • Ensure Ascman is kept up to date regarding job schedules.
  • Actively participate in Planning meeting.
  • Update and distribute reports as required.
  • Liaise with customer services regarding stock and order enquiries.
  • Assist in accepting customer orders in the system.
  • Organise and schedule outwork to meet customer requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects
  • Any other reasonable task requested by senior management.
  • Deputise for Planning manager as required

Production Planner - Person Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a similar role.
  • Must possess excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyse and evaluate data.
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Excel
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and can prioritize differing demands
  • Must possess excellent communication skills (both oral and written), with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
