I am looking on behalf of an amazing primary school for a dedicated & enthusiastic Teacher for their strong, well-behaved Year 4 class to start on 20th March.

This is a 2 form entry school, therefore you will be working closely with a parallel Teacher &a great TA.

You will need good communication skills to manage the class with your team, you will also need to be able to communicate well with the children & inspire them.

You will be building professional relationships with the parents, reporting back tothem with their children's progress.

You will need to be a passionate Teacher who is able to plan & teach fun, stimulating lessons that will engage the children.

You will need to make sure that their learning journey is an adventure.

It will be part of your role to make sure you are givingextra support with the help of a TA to the pupils who have extra higher needs.

You will be tracking the children's progress & reporting back to the Head Teacher.

As part of your role you will need to ensure the children are in a safe, happy environment.

You must stay aware of any safeguarding concerns & it is your responsibility to report anything to the designated safeguarding lead.

This local primary school is a warm, vibrant & engaging school, where the children are well-behaved and polite.

The staff are very friendly, most of them have been there for years,& are looking forward to welcoming a new face.

Your role will include:

Planning appropriate lessons to meet national curriculum guidelines and marking
Following the school marking policy
Promoting good progress and outcomes
Adapting teaching to respond to the strengths of pupils
Managing behaviour effectively
Demonstrating good curriculum knowledge
Liaising with parents

The Head teacher would like a kind, friendly teacher who is has a positive attitude & a real passion for teaching.

They would like someone who can create a safe, happy & welcoming environment for the children.

This particular class are performing very well,you will be taking over a strong class & it would be great to find a Teacher who can maintain this.
