I am looking on behalf of an amazing primary school for a dedicated & enthusiastic Teacher for their strong, well-behaved Year 4 class to start on 20th March.
This is a 2 form entry school, therefore you will be working closely with a parallel Teacher &a great TA.
You will need good communication skills to manage the class with your team, you will also need to be able to communicate well with the children & inspire them.
You will be building professional relationships with the parents, reporting back tothem with their children's progress.
You will need to be a passionate Teacher who is able to plan & teach fun, stimulating lessons that will engage the children.
It will be part of your role to make sure you are givingextra support with the help of a TA to the pupils who have extra higher needs.
You will be tracking the children's progress & reporting back to the Head Teacher.As part of your role you will need to ensure the children are in a safe, happy environment.
You must stay aware of any safeguarding concerns & it is your responsibility to report anything to the designated safeguarding lead.
This local primary school is a warm, vibrant & engaging school, where the children are well-behaved and polite.The staff are very friendly, most of them have been there for years,& are looking forward to welcoming a new face.
Your role will include:
- Planning appropriate lessons to meet national curriculum guidelines and marking
- Following the school marking policy
- Promoting good progress and outcomes
- Adapting teaching to respond to the strengths of pupils
- Managing behaviour effectively
- Demonstrating good curriculum knowledge
- Liaising with parents
