  • We have a brand new opportunity here at Legal & General Investment Management, working within a team of 4 Consultant Coders in Cardiff. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver the remediation of LGIM's existing book of business onto the Charles River's CRIMS platform.
What you'll be doing

  • Below gives you a flavour of some of the responsibilities/ accountabilities you will have in this role.
Coding responsibilites

  • Code and approve other coders guideline restrictions into the Charles River platform
  • Ensure that all new rules coded into Charles River relating to Regulatory/ Client/Product restrictions are tested adequately both for accuracy of coding and interpretation and in line with LGIM's coding principles and definitions
  • Support the GMC Coding team with ongoing maintenance and improvement of the GMC Monitoring processes with a focus on standardisation and automation
  • Question and challenge contradictory or ambiguous restrictions and amendments with GMC Monitoring as required
Team & Engagement responsibilites

  • Form and maintain effective working relationships with ETC project team peers across other project channels
  • Guideline Validation and Capture
  • Quality Assurance
  • Continuous Improvement and Manual Monitoring
  • Regulatory Coding
  • Data transformation and delivery
  • Shadow Operations
  • Form and maintain effective working relationships with GMC Coding and Monitoring managers and deliver remediated accounts in line with their operating standards
  • Support & encourage continuous improvement of coding standards
What we're looking for- Charles River Advanced Coding or equivalent

  • Experience within Asset Management
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Investment Management Certificate (IMC) preferred
  • Intermediate to advance Excel knowledge (VBA would be useful)
