The purpose of the Marketing BU is to sustainably maximise cash flows from the marketing of Anglo American products and services.


Job Description:


PURPOSE


Accountable for the evolution, smooth running and maintenance of Marketing IM provided systems together with providing exceptional support to the business liaising with the relevant project managers and business teams as required.


KEY TASKS

Performance & Delivery

  • Handle and resolve customer issues in Marketing IM provided systems
  • Optimise business performance by enhancing the alignment between business processes and the Marketing IM systems, in conjunction with business process owners
  • Gain consensus on new process concepts to move process improvement forward
  • Work closely with stakeholders, process owners and key users to understand business requirements and drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions
  • Understand the business processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements and the development of solutions
  • Involved in security/authorization setup, user documentation, data interface design, data migration and data reconciliation
  • Drive the adoption of best practice and enforce the use of standard systems and solutions
  • Act as the key specialist point of contact for service providers in problem solving and investigations related to incidents in the Marketing area where they relate to systems
  • Work with the operations teams to identify, plan and execute service improvements
  • Perform functional analysis, requirements definition and minor configuration and testing, in conjunction with third party configuration teams
  • Manage service introduction and deployment ensuring best practice by any third party teams including the delivery of acceptable test scenarios and scripts
  • Directly accountability for the successful delivery of the endofday process
  • Deliver consistent service results and service improvement plans
  • Manage problem root cause analysis and resolution
  • Comply with Anglo American Security and Operating Standards

Qualifications:

Advantageous to have a qualification in a relevant field OR a proven track record of experience in a role and context of similar complexity


Specific Knowledge requirements:


  • Proficiency in English both verbal and written
  • Any of trading domain knowledge, market/credit risk, back office/ERP intergration experience desirable
