Interim Advanced Social Worker x2 Reference no: 87 per hour PAYE Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 This opening assignment is for 3 months City: LEEDS Must be office based for duty but hybrid working is negotiable dependent on the needs of the team Enhanced DBS required for this role An Advanced Social Worker is required to manage a caseload comprising of Child and Family Assessments, Child in Need, Child Protection, Child Care Proceedings until permanence.
Social workers should be able to practice restoratively with child and families and promote family led decisions to manage risk and meet support needs.
Must be office based for duty but hybrid working is negotiable dependant on the needs of the team (due to the relational approach of the organisation, it is envisaged this will be office based on duty weeks and one WFH home day/compressed hours on non-duty).
Manage a caseload comprising of Child and Family Assessments, Child in Need, Child Protection, Child Care Proceedings until permanence.Undertake a wide range of complex assessments including Community Care and Best Interest Assessments and construct innovative and cost-effective solutions.
Carry out Safeguarding investigations within multi-agency procedures.Carry out risk assessments and identify needs and options.
Promote independence and early intervention, helping resolve conflict where needed.
