    Description

    WHAT TO EXPECT

    This opportunity is part of the development and delivery of the next generation navigation solutions that will help to provide a Modern Luxury experience for clients of future JLR electrified vehicles. In this role, you will work as part of the Agile Delivery Chapter within the Navigation & Routing Squad to facilitate the team in achievement of this objective.

    You will be responsible for working with the Product Owner in Purchasing and Finance functions to ensure projects are managed and delivered within agreed budget targets, as well as facilitating the work of the agile squad using the Agile framework to deliver high value outcomes and addressing complex problems related to technology development.

    Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

    In this role, you will guide the team through execution of the Agile practices to deliver outcomes prioritised by the Product Owner, ensuring goals and scope are clear, as well as managing projects and backlogs in tools such as Confluence & JIRA.

    Further responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Responsible for facilitating work of an Agile Squad to deliver high value navigation experiences on the next generation of JLR vehicles.
    • Coaching and mentoring the team to understand the Agile framework and practices.
    • Removal of obstacles & impediments that hinder team/project progress.
    • Facilitating Events (Daily Stand Up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives & Big Room Planning etc.)
    • Promoting continuous communication, monitoring and helping improve team dynamics.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED

    • Experience/qualifications in recognised Agile methodologies or Scrum Master Certification (e.g., PSM, ASM, CSM, APMG, SAFe, PMP-ACP)
    • Experience working as a Scrum Master in the Automotive sector
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and team building.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Analytical and critical thinking abilities to identify and solve problems.
