Working hours & location

  • This role will be based in our office in Whiteley and offers free onsite parking
  • Hybrid working available one day per week working from home


  • Monday

  • Friday 8.30am 5.30pm
  • No bank holidays or weekends

The Role


This is a new role with plenty of opportunity to be innovative as Group HR Assistant, driving the People & Culture department forward.

The purpose of this role is to support the Group People & Culture Manager, and will be responsible for a range of HR duties, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, employee records management and other related tasks across the Ridown Group Companies.

This role is available for immediate start.

This will include but is not limited to:

  • Assisting with the recruitment, hiring & onboarding processes
  • Assisting with offboarding exiting employees
  • Maintaining accurate employee records using BambooHR system
  • Responding to enquiries relating to employees, policies and procedures
  • General HR administration including changes to employment
  • Assisting with general office administration
  • Support the Group People & Culture Manager with project work where required
  • Produce monthly HR Metrics
  • Working with Group People & Culture Manager to drive 2023 People & Culture key focus points

Essentials

  • Experience of HR Admin/Assistant role
  • Comfortable and experienced in working in a fastpaced, dynamic environment
  • Can work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Creative, and have a passion for creating amazing content, helping us to attract more exceptional individuals
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Fantastic organisational and prioritisation skills, being able to juggle a varied and busy workload whilst managing time effectively
  • Proven ability to influence and persuade others through effective communication
  • Desire to obtain/working towards CIPD Level
  • Team player
  • Able to work with discretion and confidentiality
  • Working knowledge of Office 36
  • Proactive approach
  • Demonstrates resilience and patience and is calm, tactful and approachable

Desirables

  • Experience with recruitment
  • Experience/knowledge of HR systems
  • Some experience with employment law & practices
  • CIPD Level 3 qualified
  • Drive to develop within the People Environment

- £23,000 - £25,000 Per Annum Salary (dependent on experience)
