Cathodic Protection Co Ltd is a leading specialist engineering company based in Grantham, providing corrosion solutions to the oil, gas, water, and construction industries globally.

Established in 1950, the company has experienced significant growth in recent years through effective market development and the introduction of innovative new products.

The Position
Reporting to the QA/QC Stores Manager.

The position covers the following main activities:

Unloading/loading transport.
Accepting Goods In.
Checking materials against drawings as part of QC.
Data entry on stock and order system
Picking Job Packs for manufacture.
Packing completed materials for onward shipment.
Assisting with inspection activities and customer data/documentation requirements.
And any other reasonable ad hoc tasks as requested by a company manager/director.
Keep work area's clean and tidy.
Cover for holidays when required.

The Person

This position is the perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic individual keen to establish and progress a career in an engineering stores environment.

Excellent attitude is a must.
A willingness to experience and learn more.
Small mathematical calculations will be required.
Ideally hold a current FLT licence, although training can be given.
Previous experience is preferred but not necessary as training will be given.
Good communication and teamwork skills but be able to work alone.

Expected start date:
ASAP.

Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent.

Working hours:
Week A: 8:15am to 17:00pm Monday to Friday.

Week B: 8:15am to 17:00pm Monday to Thursday (Friday off).

Benefits:

9-day fortnight.

Company pension.

Salary:

From £10.42 per hour dependant on age and experience.
