Cathodic Protection Co Ltd is a leading specialist engineering company based in Grantham, providing corrosion solutions to the oil, gas, water and construction industries globally.

Established in 1950, the company has experienced significant growth in recent years through effective market development and the introduction of innovative new products.

Reporting to the Operations Manager the Logistics and Commercial administrator will fill a key position in the company organising the commercial and logistic activities of the business.

The Position:

Ensuring on-time delivery to our customers by:

Managing an effective group of freight forwarders, hauliers and couriers.
Liaising with customers and freight forwarders to arrange logistic activities in order to fulfil the company's contractual obligations.
Production of shipping documentation, including, but not limited to; Invoices, Packing Lists and Certificates of Origin.
Accurately generating Commercial Invoices and ensuring there timely transmission to the customer's Accounts Dept. expediting payment of invoices
Credit control
Expediting the processing of Sales Orders into Open Packs to meet the promised date.
Supporting other Departments in the business, such as:
Obtaining shipping prices to assist sales personnel in producing accurate quotations.
Managing spreadsheets and databases covering import / export transactions and shipping quotations etc.
Review of Letters of Credit contractual terms and conditions at quotation and order stage. (Training to be provided)
Assisting Project Administration when necessary

Working Hours:

Week A: 8:15am to 17:00pm Monday to Friday

Week B: 8:15am to 17:00pm Monday to Thursday (Friday off)

Pay:

£24K to 26K depending on experience
Previous experience with either Logistics or Commercial administration is essential.
