Are you interested in working for an award winning social care charity?

Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within ENABLE Scotland by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support.

No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is thatyou will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes - whatever they may be

Each person we support has different support needs, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.

ENABLE Scotland creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.

The Best in _You_ Brings Out the Best in _Me_

The people we support have many varied interests and hobbies and have many of the same dreams and aspirations as we do; they just too often do not get the opportunity to experience these same opportunities.

A career with ENABLE Scotland is as rewarding asit is diverse, Personal Assistants at _their_
besthave the potential to truly bring out _the_
bestin the people we support.

Let us tell you a little about Dave:
Dave is a young man that is moving into his own home.

He is looking for people to join his team who are motivated, active, committed and confident to help him achieve his goals and live a life he chooses.

Dave requires support with all aspects of his care including personal care and household tasks, as well as support to maintain his health and wellbeing.

He loves home cooked meals and especially likes spicy foods and curries, therefore having an interestin cooking would be an advantage.

Dave has many interests and will give new things a try, even if it is just once.

Some of his interests include horse riding, bowling, messy play and watching football matches on the TV.He also loves watching games shows, Disney, action packed movies andGlasgow based comedies including 'Still Game'.

He also likes listening to loud music, whether it be heavy metal, opera or people playing instruments.

Sadly, it's not always possible for Dave to enjoy what many people would consider these 'simple pleasures' without proper, dedicated support.
