Accounts Assistant, Harrogate,
6-month contract, Hybrid working available

Do you have a varied accounts experience? Would you like to work for a company that are known for looking after their staff? Interested in working in the media sector dealing with foreign currency?
Working in an existing finance team you will be assisting with the financial record keeping and some reporting.

Key Duties:

  • Checking data & producing a master excel document
  • Raising sales invoices to clients in sterling and foreign currencies
  • Ensure sales invoices and associated costs are billed and recorded accurately
  • Chasing missing PO's where required.
  • Complete sign off paperwork for credit notes raised
  • Processing both sterling and foreign currency purchase invoices onto the finance system.
  • Raise queries with vendors or local offices on any invoice overcharges.
  • Reconcile vendor statements.
  • Allocate accruals on the finance system, posting correcting journals if required.
  • Create vendor payment reports and assist with responding to vendor payment chases.
  • Develop sound relationships with the finance team, administrators, planners, and media owners.
  • Assisting and adhering to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and reporting.
  • Carry out administrative tasks to support the Finance function.
