Finance and Treasury Graduate - £24,000 - Slough


Exceptional opportunity for an
Accountancy or Finance related graduate, ideally with intern or post graduate finance and accounting work experience, to join the UK financial services division of a global brand.

Working in a setting thatwill provide challenges to stretch your knowledge, and the scope for you to develop in a supportive and encouraging environment.

The Finance & Treasury Graduate Scheme is a two-year development programme.

Day to day, your placement will provide you with the opportunity to learn about multiple aspects of Finance, Accounting and Treasury.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES TO BE DEVELOPED:


  • Responsible for the preparation and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Responsible for the monthly intercompany and related party reporting
  • Assisting the monthend reporting process: posting journal vouchers, reconciliation and analyses of data, etc
  • Allocation of the payment element of cash reporting associated with the bank account/general ledger
  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Processing supplier payment runs
  • Processing employee expense claims
  • Processing of credit card transactions and reconciliation of associated credit card statements
  • Diligent management and archiving of AP related documents (via on line workflow solution) in accordance with requirements
  • Ensures that all internal control procedures are adhered to with specific reference to approval of invoices and associated authorisation limits
  • Responsible for the administration and management of certain BACS and faster payment related processes
  • Participates in projects as required
