Tool Hire Fitter - Newmarket Plant Hire Ltd

NPH is a multi-depot independent Plant Hire Group and currently has a vacancy for a Tool Hire Fitter at our Newmarket Depot. Reporting directly to the Workshop Foreman you will be required to diagnose faults, repair, service and prepare for hire our full range of small plant, Tools and Equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Experience with diesel / petrol engines, hydraulic machinery and electrics.
Ensure tablet based job records, pre hire records and all associated records are completed promptly and efficiently.
Undertake pre

- hire inspections, scheduled servicing and repairs to a comprehensive range of Tool Hire equipment

Ensure health & safety and company procedures are met at all times.
Be reactive and punctual at all times.
Have the ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team.

EXPERIENCE

CITB/NVQ qualification preferred but not essential.
Previous Plant & Tool Hire experience is essential
Full UK driving licence is essential

Mon-Fri working week
Overtime may be required to meet business demands paid at 1.5 x basic rate.
30 Days annual holiday inclusive of bank holidays, increasing after length of service.
