    Chief Constables' Message

We really welcome your interest in joining our Police Force. It is a privilege to lead the teams in Surrey Police and Sussex Police who continuously work selflessly and tirelessly in order to keep people in our counties safe.

We are looking for talented and inspirational people who put the needs of the public at the heart of everything that they do and who want to make a difference. If you feel you are that person then we want to hear from you.

We wish you all the very best with your application.

Chief Constable Tim De Meyer & Chief Constable Jo Shiner

    The Role & Key Responsibilities

Are you our new Digital Producer? We're looking for an innovative problem-solver, with a passion for graphic design and an in-depth knowledge of the principles of design. Working within our Production Hub, you'll be responsible for leading in graphic design and creating compelling and engaging artwork, alongside fellow specialist Digital Producers, each leading in their area of expertise. You will gain the experience to flex across all skillsets, including video and photography.

Do you want to try out new ideas? Do you enjoy taking on different challenges each day? Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced team? Then you're who we want to hear from If you've got the drive and skills, we've got the projects to match.

We take great pride in offering opportunities to work on projects that create change and ensure we get the best out of you, whilst simultaneously helping you grow and develop new skills in areas you may never have previously experienced. All Digital Producers in the team share the skills they know and learn from each other.

We thrive on coming at the issue from a different angle and creating content that engages the target audience and encourages behavioural change. One day you could be taking campaign shots of officers on a live operation, next you're illustrating wall art for a department, then filming dog school. What we can do is promise you variety, and a front seat to policing with an award-winning team of innovators and creators.

We need someone who knows their way around the Adobe Creative Suite and is comfortable handling video/photography equipment. In return, the Production Hub have an array of equipment at your disposal, to bring your ideas to life.

The Production Hub sits within the Corporate Communications & Engagement department, alongside the Strategic Communications, News & Media, and Engagement teams. You will be reporting to the Digital Production Manager, who manages your tasks and, in turn, reports to the Head of Production.

While the role will be based at Surrey Police HQ in Guildford, we have adopted hybrid working and you will therefore be able to spend time working from the office, working from your local police sites and from home.
