Right now we are looking to recruit an IPS Employer Engagement Consultant in the Surrey area.
We are seeking an Employer Engagement Consultant who will play a vital role in supporting employers with business advice and guidance to recruit, engage, and support individuals with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and those with neurodiversity needs into sustained employment.
YOUR IMPACT:
- You will develop employer relationships through a mix of cold calling, networking and leads generated through marketing initiatives.
- You will empower businesses with personalised, practical support tailored to their inclusive employment aspirations. This includes conducting organisational needs assessments and identifying best working practices for individuals with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and those with neurodiversity needs.
- You will support employers to enhance their understanding of hiring and working with programme participants, including Access to Work, Reasonable Adjustments, and the Disability Confident Employer Award.
- You will work with other programme practitioners to understand their pipeline needs and desirable employers or sectors for programme participants.
- You will maintain effective relationships with employers by offering business support and guidance to optimise internal processes for integrating staff with disabilities.
- You will work closely with employers to identify, structure, and recommend recruitment and training solutions to meet specific needs; for example, job carving/creation, intervention measures, advice on inclusive recruitment practices, and options to increase skills and confidence.
- Additionally, the role involves improving attitudes towards people with disabilities, championing inclusion, providing advice on legislation, raising aspirations for employees with disabilities, promoting good practice examples, ensuring awareness of communication needs, offering constructive feedback to improve processes, and delivering highquality service in line with Get Set UK's values and operational principles.

£26,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
