Think Accountancy and Finance are working with a multinational business based in Leavesden who have recently moved into brand new offices in the recruitment of a Pensions Manager.

It is important to state that this role does not include any man managementand is more of a technical position.

The Pensions Manager will provide pension administration services to the company as a whole.

You will work within a team of 4 and this could be an ideal step up for someone in their career to date.

Our client is looking for someone who currently works as a Pension Manager, Assistant Pension Manager, Senior Pension Administrator or Pension Consultant.

You could work for an in-house pensions department or within a pension consultancy.

The business offer hybrid working with 2 or 3 days in their office a week.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Defined Contribution Pension ensure accurate information provided
  • B&CE People'e Pension communication to teams
  • Oversee the intranet page ensuring all Pension information is up to date and accurate
  • Primary point of contact for Pension Provider
  • Completion of monthly contribution processing
  • Signoff of monthly contributions for all Pension schemes
  • Autoenrolment compliance
  • Provide support to Senior Pensions Manager on Asset Summary process
  • Provide support in relation to final pension schemes
  • Prepare the draft Pension Fund recharge schedule on a quarterly basis
  • Support on complex member queries from Defined Benefits scheme administrators or Defined Contribution Trusts
  • TUPE support including ensuring life requirements are met
  • Contract negotiations
  • Oversee Death in Service Cases
**Our client is looking for people with: - Strong knowledge of DC pension and DB pension arrangements (including public sector)

  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements and timescales
  • Comprehensive understanding of autoenrolment requirements
  • Understanding of salary sacrifice arrangements
  • Experience of TUPE in / out & associated risks for either DC, Public Sector or exPublic Sector Pension arrangements
  • Project management experience
  • Good communication skills verbal and written
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
