A new IT Manager vacancy has arisen within our company. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our IT team.


LOCATION:
Skegness, Lincolnshire


JOB TYPE:
Full Time, Permanent


HOURS OF WORK:
Monday to Friday - 9.00am to 5.00pm (with half an hour unpaid lunch break)

SALARY RANGE:
£45,000 - £58,000pa (dependent on skillset)


At Micronclean our IT team provides industry-leading technologies to ensure we meet the needs of our internal and external customers, including our own garment management software and a range of web solutions for customer interface.

We're looking for a talented and passionate IT Manager to join our IT team. You will join a team of 8 IT specialists whom provide both hardware and software solutions to our customers.

The role is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to create, implement and manage an IT strategy within a rapidly developing business.


Key Responsibilities to include:


  • Managing and delivering endtoend an effective, value generating IT service to the organisation, reducing risk, improving customer relations and supporting IT environments.
  • Managing, leading and motivating a team of software and hardware specialists including "Functional Heads", to ensure overall delivery of IT service.
  • Managing the delivery of IT projects on time, in full and within budget.
  • Define, review and update IT policies covering topics such as Cyber Security, Fair Us and Data.
  • Empowering the use of IT hardware and software through valueadded training, knowledge sharing and effective equipment procurement.
  • Collaborating with and contributing to the performance of the organisations management team.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications required:


Essential:


  • Knowledge of IT hardware and software technologies covering server infrastructure, networking, security, backups, virtualisation and active directory.
  • Experience of delivering IT service management (ITSM) e.g. through management of an IT service desk.
  • Experience of managing IT projects.
  • Demonstratable problem solving skills.
  • Full UK/EU driving licence.

Desirable:


  • ITIL 4 certification.
  • Software development experience or experience of managing software development teams.
  • Experience working with engineering devices (e.g. PLCs, IoT, AI cameras)
  • Manufacturing industry experience.
  • Cyber Security Accreditations or Qualifications.
