Description

Reed Talent Solutionsare currently working with a nationwide NHS Organisation to recruit a Data Analyst on an initial 6-month contract. The post-holder will have NHS data knowledge/experience and strong SQL skills.


Role Information

  • Flexible remote working
  • 6month contract minimum
  • Salary: £48,526 £65,000 (pro rata)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive, analysis and interpretation of trainee and programme related data in conjunction with the Programme Support Manager
  • Produce accurate summaries of complex workforce data to help HEE-YH manage and commission postgraduate training for doctors and dentists in the Yorkshire and Humber
  • Provide advice and guidance on published trend analysis, procedures relating to workforce adjustments, programme redesign and training capacity
  • Run regular audits of trainees, training placements and their associated funding against set standards in order to highlight deficiencies and increase confidence and understanding in HEE-YH data sources.
  • Produce accurate data extracts to input into nationally required information returns.
  • Support the Programme Support Manager and the wider team in undertaking trend analysis and Horizon scanning in order to deliver appropriate training opportunities that are fit for purpose and appropriate for future service need.
  • Have an overview of education and training across all levels and specialities

Essential Criteria

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent level of knowledge
  • Good understanding of analytic, project management and highlevel admin procedures. These could be obtained through formal training or equivalent experience.
  • Microsoft Access and SQL skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Evidence of ongoing personal development
  • NHS Experience and experience of working with NHS datasets
