An exciting opportunity has come up for a Trainee Accounts Assistant within a small finance team, within a large business based in the Northampton City Centre.

This position is a really beautiful first job for someone who is looking to get into a financecareer within a position that allows them to gain experience in a range of areas.

This position will be assisting with the a range of finance experience such as but not limited to; invoicing, budgets, bank reconciliations, query resolution, etc.

This positionincludes a lovely range of responsibilities which is why it is such a great opportunity as we are looking to take someone on with no experience and train them up.

The right fit for this position will be someone who is eager to learn, who hasn't worked in a finance role previously.

This position will require a fair amount of training, therefore someone who has some knowledge of finance, preferably from studying a relevantqualification (such as AAT or a degree).

This is a temporary position with the potential to go permanent. This is a really lovely, supportive business to work for, the type that if you have aspirations to progress and grow, they will support you

Ideally, you will:

Be studying towards or have recently completed a relevant qualification, such as AAT or a relevant degree (Accounting and Finance, Economics, etc.).
Be strong on excel, they are ideally looking for someone who is confident working with Excel.
Be a detail oriented person who has a strong understanding of numbers, as well as being a sociable and confident person.
Be immediately available or on a short term notice period as this position is looking to start ASAP.
