    Hours of work: 16.25 hours per week
    Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.85 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

    The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.

    If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted

    Cross in Hand is a happy and successful C of E Primary School in Heathfield, East Sussex. We have genuinely lovely children, supportive parents and a great team of staff.

    We are looking for an Individual Needs Assistant to support a Year 4 child during lessons and at playtime. The successful candidate would need to remain calm under pressure and have a firm, consistent yet nurturing approach to supporting children to regulate their behaviour.

    Experience of supporting children with attachment needs and autism would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

    The position is being advertised as Monday to Friday 8:45 to 12:00 term time only. There is potential for the hours to increase with the needs of the child

    The closing date for applications is Thursday 16th May with interviews being held the following week.

    Please note: Salary quoted is for a full-time member of staff. The post we are advertising is 44.85 weeks per year and 16.25 hours per week.
