The Role
Nigel Wright are exclusively supporting an engineering business in Middlesbrough with their search for a Technical Administrator.
Reporting into the Commercial Manager,the role will incorporate the following duties:
- Preparing customer enquiry and contract files.
- Assist in preparation of contracts for review.
- Raising and reviewing of purchase orders for the purchase of goods and services.
- Process receipt of purchase orders
- Chase invoice authorisation
- Process daily invoices on Sage Accounting System
- Follow up with suppliers and internally to resolve issues to allow prompt release of invoice for payment
- Unblock invoices on Sage when queries and approvals have been made
- Administration of measuring equipment
- Administer receipt of completed Inspection reports for storage
- Coordination of subcontract activities.
- Data gathering, entry and reporting.
- Other administration tasks to support company requirements.

Essential Criteria:
- To be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Technically capable of understanding customer documentation
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable, responsible with strong customer service and excellent people and relationship management
- Highly adaptable, quick to pick up new skills with ability to manage work in a timely manner in time pressured situations
- Can do attitude
- Attention to detail
- Good ICT skills
- Data driven
