The Supply Service are recruiting for a permanent SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of a SEN Childrens School based in Holywell, Flintshire


Successful applicants will have the ability to adapt to different educational settings effectively, whilst supporting children aged 6 to 15 years with a range of additional needs.

SEMH, MLD, SLD & ASD are some of the challenging and complex needs present, and previous experience with these learning difficulties is desired.


The school and staff pride themselves on providing the best education for pupils with complex social, emotional and mental health needs, autistic spectrum disorder and/or cognitive and learning difficulties.

And believe successful education can be achieved through a personalised and therapeutic approach.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant you'll need to have:

  • Affinity for children with SEN needs
  • Ability to engage pupils to secure accredited certificates and qualifications with the support of teaching staff
  • To be creative in planning and able to create an inclusive learning environment
  • An effective communicator with children, parents and colleagues
  • A team player, able to work collaboratively

  • Committed to safeguarding children at all times.

Working Hours:
40 hours per week, term time only

  • Monday: 08:00am 4:00pm
  • Tuesday: 08:00am 4:00pm
  • Wednesday: 08:00am 4:30pm
  • Thursday: 08:00am 4:00pm
  • Friday: 08:00am 15:30pm

Successful applicants are required to attend an online interview, complete Safeguarding training & must undertake a full enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) check.


Salary:
£18,732.00 per year
