    Textiles Sewing Trainer / Gerrards Cross / up to £43,000


    Are you an experienced Sewing Machinist Mentor / Trainer? You could be progressing your career at a world class and very successful Manufacturing company who have been awarded multiple queens awards and provide a range of complex safety equipment for the Aerospace / Defence markets.


    Based in a busy Sewing and Textile department, you will develop a training programme to meet the skill requirements of the department and the department skills matrices and development pathways as agreed with the Sewing Room Management Team.


    Location / Hours:


    You'll be based close to Gerrards Cross, 5 days per week; you'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links.

    Free parking available.

    37 hr week (Mon-Thurs / Friday pm)


    Requirements:
    Experience of training and developing people
    Public speaking and presentation skills
    Experience of Textile Sewing assembly / manufacturing processes preferably within in the Aerospace / Defence / Automotive industry
    Sewing machine and fabric cutting operational skills
    Ability to create training plans and documentation
    Understanding of General technical drawing requirements
    Apprenticeship (NVQ level 3) Engineering related discipline or textile manufacturing experience

    Salary & benefits:
    As a Textile & Sewing Trainer, you will earn a competitive salary up to £43,000 plus benefits including:
