Description
My client are offering a flexible hybrid role that would suit someone looking for a work life balance in a friendly and family orientated team

You will be supporting the team and working with clients and accountants

  • Preparation of monthly, subscription and ad hoc billing
  • Monitoring and maintaining CCH workflows
  • Monitoring deadlines accounts and tax
  • VAT schemes set up
  • Handling payroll interactions/disbursements
Compliance

  • Ownership of antimoney laundering processes on new and existing clients
  • Liaising with clients when service agreements are due to end
  • Ensuring HMRC authorities are up to date and monitored
  • Submitting accounts to Companies House, tax returns and corporation tax returns
Support

  • Scanning client records to be sent for offshoring
  • Billing forecasts and added value spreadsheet management
  • Delivery of final accounts for signature
  • Check payments on account
  • Assisting with ad hoc project work
  • Assisting the Heads of Team with onboarding new clients

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • An ability to work quickly and accurately
  • An eye for detail
  • An ability to work to deadlines
  • An ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
  • Good computer skills (especially with databases and financial software) previous use of Xero essential
  • An ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, in English
  • Must be able to keep client matters strictly confidential
  • Solid knowledge of basic accounting and financial principles and practices
  • Good analytical and numerical abilities
  • Practice experience is highly desirable but not essential
