Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Rehabilitation (up to 0.5 FTE)
Salary: £42,282 - £48,474 per annum, pro rata
AECC University College is looking to appoint a new Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Rehabilitation to contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate sport and exercise provision. Located in the beautiful coastal town of Bournemouth, Dorset with a mission to create a healthier society through education, research and clinical care, we are looking for like-minded individuals to join our diverse and growing multi-professional team.

We offer a range of sport, exercise and health courses with sport and exercise rehabilitation a core part of the curriculum.
We are seeking exceptional academics to help shape our progressive future who can contribute to our developing programme of educational courses, research and enterprise activities working closely with our prestigious network of partners nationally and internationally. The University College is committed to supporting its staff in pursuing scholarship and research in teaching and discipline-based subject areas.
Utilising dedicated clinical teaching spaces, onsite clinical facilities, simulation and cutting-edge technology we aim to deliver courses which provide work ready graduates who excel in their chosen field.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of School, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of sport and exercise rehabilitation education to students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Duties may include unit leadership, high quality teaching, assessment and constructive feedback to help students in their development. The post holder will be supported to develop research in support of the institution's research strategy or to develop and undertake clinical practice within our dedicated onsite facilities.
About the person
We seek enthusiastic and highly motivated sport and exercise rehabilitation specialists to join our team with knowledge of the UK higher education sector. The successful candidate will have an ability to foster student learning and development, possess excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and have a clear vision for the development of sport and exercise rehabilitation education within the University College.
The successful candidate must maintain their own development as a qualified sport and exercise rehabilitation professional and may contribute to the enhancement of pre-registration, post-registration and apprenticeship courses within the institution's portfolio.
