Brighton; during training office based, thereafter hybrid working one day a month
12 month fixed term contract

You will get a 9% pension as standard, increasing to 13% company max contribution (plus your 4% = a 17% pension).
You can also get up to 31 days holiday, hybrid working, life assurance - employee, income protection, private medical insurance, mortgage advice, gadget cover, life assurance - partner, critical illness, travel insurance and dental cover.
Role Value Proposition:
This is a great position for someone who has a keen eye for detail and would like to develop into an Underwriter within MetLife and work closely with Sales and our Operations Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day preparation and processing of quotations, proactively managing the work volumes of these to stay within service level agreements.
- Liaising with other internal departments within Sales & Operations as and when required.
- Completion of other, similar processes to support the overall team delivery
Required:
- Prior employment in the Insurance sector (any experience considered)
- An excellent eye for detail with high accuracy levels
- Strong organisational skills with
- Good communicator both in writing and verbally, comfortable in contacting customers over the phone.
- Strong educational grade for English and Mathematics
- Team Player with at least three years' experience within the financial services industry
Preferred:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Keen to learn and proactively develop themselves.
- Enthusiastic and flexible.
