The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Regional Director & Chief Underwriter you will draft and distribute standard pricing proposals for all partners, which includes interpreting and evaluating risk submissions, developing rates and documenting underwriting assumptions.

You will also update existing data analysis tools to assess the performance of our products.

You will deliver products across multiple lines of business that are priced to increase profitable growth and designed to meet client needs.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

Draft and distribute pricing proposals for standard pricing requests which includes interpreting and evaluating risk submissions, developing rates using pricing models and principles and documenting underwriting assumptions.
Understand how to produce details and requirements needed for internal and external requests and reports by following specifications in place.
Build underwriting performance data models to ensure analysis of scheme performance.
Monitor changes or trends from original underwriting assumptions and recommend corrective action.
Provide technical underwriting support to service and claims teams.

You will have the following experience:

Experience in a role which shows an ability to work with data sets
Experience being a user of MS excel (can perform complex functions) or MS Power BI
Experience of working in the insurance, financial service and/or warranty industry preferable, although not essential
