Description

Purchasing Assistant; Up to £32K; Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.

Daily management of stock for finished products, raw material, and items of packaging to meet customer and manufacturing requirements
Analysis and interpretation of ERP / MRP information to react to changes in demand
Working closely with other departments on the analysis of historical orders and forecasting future business levels to obtain purchasing intelligence
Analysis of Supplier performance
Daytoday use of a range of software including advanced level of Excel

Applicants should be well organised with excellent attention to detail, sound IT skills with MS Office including Excel and a natural team player.

Previous experience within materials management, procurement or purchasing is required. Knowledge of ERP or MRP databases would also be desirable.
