    #Senior Planner - Isle of Grain, Kent.

    Would you like to join one of the UK's Best Big Companies as awarded by Best Companies? Murphy is currently looking for a Senior Planner to join our award-winning Energy team on the National Grid LNG project in Isle of Grain, Kent.

    The Senior Planner will lead the planning function on their allocated project, ensuring that all projects within their portfolios are effectively planned, scheduled, and monitored.

    Following the 'One Murphy' approach, we're able to deliver all aspects of the projects we work on.

    Murphy has designed, constructed, and commissioned projects for clients including National Grid, Cadent Gas, OPA, SGN, National Grid Ventures, on both transmission and distribution networks.

    Our projects include Compressor stations, Natural Gas and LNG Terminals, AGI's, pipelines and diversions.
    Contribute to the risk register and undertake programme risk analysis.
    Manage personally controlled project documentation in an orderly fashion.
    Provide a link between all parties in regard to the planning community information
    Liaise with the design engineer to establish a design brief for temporary works.
    Provide the estimator with a justified schedule of temporary works and other indirect cost items.
    In consultation with Estimator advise project team of required feedback reports and support.
    Experience on Civil Engineering and/or Construction projects.
    Experience working within Oil & Gas projects.
    Use of planning software (P6, Asta, TILOS, QSRA).
    Flexabilty to travel to projects and with potential overnight stays as per business needs.
    Active experience of working with a wide range of planning techniques in serving both tendering and contract delivery.
    A clear understanding of the commercial and contractual interfaces with the planning function.
    Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Microsoft Project and P6.
