What will this role achieve?

Provides the site with QA, Food Safety, Pest Control and Process Integrity advice and support.
Implements pladis's Central QA and Food Safety Policies and Procedures and drives continuous improvement of the site standards and systems.
Manages the site's Quality and Food Safety systems and internal audit programmes.
Supports the site in managing complaint, issue and incident prevention and investigations, and in delivering compliance to all legal, pladis, Retailer and other external relevant standards.

What will be your key deliverables?

Collates and provides TOS (turn of scale) data to the site SAP office.
Collects retained SQSE samples of finished product
Maintains the hygiene and housekeeping of SQSE retained store
Collects startup samples for micro testing
Supports the SQSE team in the collection of routine micro samples
Produces metal and weight test packs to production lines, ensuring that the renewal schedule is followed and kept upto date
Ensures that the SQSE metal room housekeeping standards are maintained
Validates SQSE metal detector and SQSE bench scales are validated as per defined schedule.
Collects pH / AW samples as defined by QA advisor
Manages all incoming and outgoing mail for the SQSE department (collection of complaints box from the post room, processing any UPS mail)
Produces all CP / CCP record books for manufacturing lines, ensuring that they are available on a daily basis.
Supports the SQSE team during site audits as required

Confident with use of IT
Fluent in the use of verbal and written English
Ability to work as part of a team
Skilled in planning own agenda and working independently
Confidence in communicating to stakeholders of all levels

Completer finisher
Thorough and conscientious with an eye for detail
Proven ability to deliver rightfirsttime against deadlines

Desirable

Previous experience in a manufacturing / admin role would be of an advantage
