£30,619:

- £35,308 per annum**

Full-time: 35 hours per week

Fixed-term: for 12 months initially**We are looking for a Research Assistant who will help facilitate a programme of research investigating the cellular and molecular mechanisms regulating liver fibrosis.

The Opportunity:

Under the guidance of the PI and senior laboratory members of staff, help facilitate a programme of research investigating the cellular and molecular mechanisms regulating liver fibrosis.

Your skills and attributes for success:

An undergraduate degree in the biological field is required, and significant laboratory experience and knowledge of the research field would be a strong advantage.
Applicants must be willing to work in an interdisciplinary environment and develop new skills.
Evidence of a strong trackrecord in some aspect of biology.
Evidence of a strong work ethic, independent thinking and ability to work as part of a research team.
Interest in the mechanisms underlying liver fibrosis, tissue regeneration and discovery of antifibrotic and proregenerative therapies.
