Linux Systems Administrator and Linux System Developer Opportunities - Lancaster/Hybrid - £36,000 - £51,000 plus exceptional benefits.


We are working with an award winning large scale Academic organisation, in a period of growth to their Networks team.

They are looking to add two skilled Linux professionals to this already established team. One of which is a Systems Developer role, theother being a more Linux Systems Administrator / SysOps focused role.

With in excess of 13,000 unique users, our client is ranked highly and is well respected in their sector.

A hybrid working pattern is also offered.


Within this organisation they use Debian and CentOS as their chosen Linux flavours, so any experience in these will also be greatly beneficial.

They also use the LAMP stack.


Not only will you be skilled in Linux, you will also have experience with administering systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, as well as programming experience in PHP, Python or other similar scripting languages.


For the
Network Systems Developer role you will have demonstrable experience of Linux programming in service environments, as well has having experience in the development of PostgreSQL databases.
