Job description
To support a business critical
IFRS17 Project.

Maintaining and providing financial information to support the production of statutory accounts, regulatory returns or MI systems and to support the delivery of technical change projects withinFinance where required.

As a Technical Accountant you will be responsible for:

General ledger posting / management.
Reference data management.
Interrogation of financial results/ ledger postings ability to get fully involved and dig into understanding numbers/ comparatives.
Group consolidation/ reporting.
Process improvement, using Excel VBA, Power BI, etc.

Essential:

A
fully qualified accountant with PQE.
General Financial Control experience within Consolidation or Sub-Ledger Reconciliations, Account Ownership, Legal Entity Control or Statutory Accounting.
Financial Services Industry experience.
Life insurance experience or financial reporting experience

Desirable:

Systems experience
General Ledger Migrations & Implementations, Finance Systems Upgrades.
Knowledge of Oracle systems.
Experience of IFRS17.
