    Description

    Job Description:

    • As Head of Insight at the Metropolitan Police, you have a unique opportunity to lead a team in utilizing data, research, and analysis to enhance communication strategies.
    • Your main focus will be on developing a new insight and evaluation team proficient in both quantitative and qualitative research, specializing in audience and behavioral insights.
    • You will play a crucial role in integrating data-driven decision-making into all communication plans and enhancing the current metrics for evaluating performance.
    • Additionally, you will be responsible for optimizing the use of digital and web-based analytical tools and improving the overall utilization of insights.
    • By assessing the effectiveness of different communication channels through research agencies, you will contribute to shaping successful Met campaigns.
    • Ideally, you should have previous experience in an insight role within a sizable communication or marketing department, with a strong understanding of communication planning and evaluation methodologies.
    • Building trust with senior management, collaborating with colleagues in the Communications Directorate, and establishing best practices in insight will be key to your success in this role.
