Salary :
£45,085, Scale Point 18, and a London Weighting Allowance of £6,050

Our client is the UK trade union for musicians and represents over 32,500 musicians across the UK working in all sectors of the music business.

As well as negotiating on behalf of their members with all the major employers in the industry, they offer a range of support services for professional and student musicians of all ages and backgrounds.

They are currently looking to recruit a full time London Regional Officer (ROff) in their London Region.

Their regions play a key role in the Union's operation, and the London Region is the largest with over 10k members.

As ROff, you will assist in the delivery of the key regional objectives as set by the Executive Committee and London Regional Committee andwill report to the London Regional Organiser.

You will develop and maintain relationships with a variety of industry organisations, partners, and venues, to ensure their members are represented and that they are visible to potential members.

You will help progress them Equality Action Plan and willdevelop and deliver events and presentations concerning them and the music industry as a whole.

You will need to be a dynamic team player who has the strength to work independently, someone who has the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, and someonewho is able to prioritise and multitask effectively.

A full commitment to delivering and improving the Union's services to members will be required alongside a commitment to the overall aims and objectives of the trade union movement.

What they offer They are offering a basic salary of £45,085, Scale Point 18, and a London Weighting Allowance of £6,050, as well as a contribution towards a personal pension scheme. The annual leave entitlement for this post is 30 days, excluding public holidays.
