Working within our finance division, the postholder for this role will have the following main responsibilities:

Process vendor invoices to

CBS:
Electronically matching the invoice to the PO and then send the invoice for approval

Statement reconciliations, liaising with external vendors to sort any queries
New vendors collate new vendor forms for authorisation by Procurement (before bank verification)
Archiving of invoices, sequence checking for completeness.
Ensuring all invoices have approved purchase orders.
Chase internal staff to raise PO's or return invoice to vendor, approve PO's and approve invoices. Remind staff of
PO's awaiting approval or invoices waiting approval
Verification of new vendors, checking the address and verifying bank details by phone (anti fraud checks)
Change of bank detail process to be followed with verification by phone to the vendor (anti fraud checks)
Liaise with vendors when an invoice has been rejected (goods/services not delivered as per expectation)
Deal with all legal notices, phoning vendors, third parties and sheriff offices
