An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team within the Gwynedd & Ynys Mon Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team.


We are looking for an Administration Support Officer with administration and clerical experience who has excellent interpersonal and Organisational skills and who will be able to work well within our existing team.

You will need to have a flexible approach, be reliable, adaptable and have good organisational skills. A pleasant telephone manner and good communication skills are essential.

You will also be computer literate with experience of Word and Excel, be a team player and able to maintain confidentiality.


To be responsible for providing professional, efficient, accurate and prompt administrative support to the Gwynedd & Ynys Mon CAMHS administration and clinical team.


To receive and respond to telephone enquiries from patients, families, other agencies and Health Board Staff in a professional, helpful and sensitive manner, answer queries within own area of responsibility or refer to the appropriate department.

Communicate with GPs; other Health Services and Social Services; Hospitals, Independent and Voluntary Sector, patients and relatives. Dealing with enquiries without the need for direction in a large proportion of queries.

The Welsh language requirements for this post are essential.
