Currently recruiting a Marketing Officer for a permanent & contract role

  • Based in Falkirk (hybrid offered) for a Not for Profit

About Our Client:

Well known not for profit

  • Brand Development contribute to the development of longterm marketing plans by identifying new opportunities to promote the expertise and services including working with partners and utilising trends in traditional and digital media.
  • Stakeholder Relations manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including professionals, academics, the media, community, staff and suppliers to ensure productive working relations.
  • Project Management research, plan, develop and implement marketing and brand projects in line with strategic aims.
  • Evaluation evaluate the success of marketing initiatives in order to inform future developments.
  • External Communications develop communication materials for external audiences including printed media, digital communications and news features. This includes copywriting, design and film/photography.
  • Internal Communications develop communication materials for internal audiences including updating the intranet, creating posters, leaflets, signage and ensuring all materials are on brand.
  • Fundraising Support support the fundraising team when required advising on campaigns and messaging and ensuring projects are on brand.
  • Event Support work with the Events Manager to manage and promote events both with external partners and events.


  • Recruitment Support

  • Work collaboratively with the Recruitment Working Group and HR to develop and enhance our recruitment employer banding and keep focus and energy in our 'key message' and the use of social media.
  • Data Management oversee the management of all marketing contacts on the CRM database ensuring we comply with the latest data protection regulation.
  • Procurement support the Marketing and Communications Lead with the procurement of goods and services.
  • Budget and resources make best use of available resources and manage project level budgets.
  • Leadership lead by example, build team morale and provide encouragement and constructive feedback to other members of the team
  • Deputise for Marketing and Communications Lead where required.
  • To actively participate in coaching and the review process, to identify your individualised learning pathway, through a process of exploration and reflective practice.
  • Other duties and tasks as may be required by the Marketing and Communications Lead.

The Successful Applicant:

You will have strong project management skills and an ability to prioritise workloads in a busy environment.

Strong interpersonal skills and team working, the ability to develop and establish strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders is essential.

Experience/understanding of the third sector would be advantageous.


You will either be Educated to degree level in Marketing or related discipline or have relevant on the job marketing experience.

You will be able to demonstrate skills including Project management, time management, good working knowledge of brand development and experience of updating website using Content Management Systems.

This role requires some travel, therefore a driving license would be preferable.
