JMC are working with a leading MRO Organisation based in Chelmsford, looking to recruit a Production Operative to join their expanding team.

This is a Permanent Position based in Chelmsford. This role is for 39 hours per week, Monday

  • Thursday. This role pays £ £14.50 per hour.


The Production Operative will be responsible for carrying out a range of Post paint chemical treatments on Aluminium, Stainless Steel and other metal components.


The responsibilities of the Production Operative will involve:

  • Read and interpret drawing data whether first or third angle projection
  • Lift heavy components when needed to, or assist in lifting them
  • Work to simple instructions given on our paper work and other documents
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements
  • To be a team player and able to carry out extra overtime hours as required by the business
  • Ability to work varied shift pattern as required by the Company which may include night shift
  • Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Company
In order to be successful in this role the ideal Production Operative will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience of our wet treatments process would be an advantage but training can be given to the right applicant.
  • An understanding of the different metal types would be an advantage.
