We are looking for a Warehouse Shift Supervisor (PM) to be based at our site in Marston Gate (MK43 0YL).

The role will offer a salary of £32k per annum with a shift allowance of £840 per annum and your working hours will be 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work planning to ensure sufficient resource is available to complete the day to day volume across all operations.
  • Safely manage and handle inbound stock through all inbound processes, ensuring all company procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure and supervise that all goods are handled in the correct manner to ensure that damage is kept to a minimum and manual handling techniques are followed to prevent injury and harm
  • Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the warehouse
  • Carry out daily team briefs
  • Ensuring Health and Safety standards are maintained throughout the Warehouse environment
  • Focus on the implementation, continuous monitoring and development of 5S, Y.E.S and Kaizen
  • Ensuring that the teams' skills are actively enhanced at every opportunity, such as further training and development
  • Daily management such as Return to work, holiday management, absence, performance and standards of behaviour taking due consideration of company values.
  • Ensure all team members are aware of key outcomes, business processes, expectations and that all associated employee procedures are adhered to.
  • Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to the Operations Manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity.
Main skills/ experience

  • You will have prior experience working in a leadership role within food Warehousing and Distribution
  • Proven solid understanding of Food Warehousing and distribution
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety in the working environment
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail.
  • Proven examples of exceeding KPI targets and motivating a team
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to manage crossfunctional teams
  • Driven to achieve targets daily
  • Energy, flexibility and commitment to succeed
