We are looking for a Warehouse Shift Supervisor (PM) to be based at our site in Marston Gate (MK43 0YL).

The role will offer a salary of £32k per annum with a shift allowance of £840 per annum and your working hours will be 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday.

Main Responsibilities

Work planning to ensure sufficient resource is available to complete the day to day volume across all operations.
Safely manage and handle inbound stock through all inbound processes, ensuring all company procedures are adhered to
Ensure and supervise that all goods are handled in the correct manner to ensure that damage is kept to a minimum and manual handling techniques are followed to prevent injury and harm
Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the warehouse
Carry out daily team briefs
Ensuring Health and Safety standards are maintained throughout the Warehouse environment
Focus on the implementation, continuous monitoring and development of 5S, Y.E.S and Kaizen
Ensuring that the teams' skills are actively enhanced at every opportunity, such as further training and development
Daily management such as Return to work, holiday management, absence, performance and standards of behaviour taking due consideration of company values.
Ensure all team members are aware of key outcomes, business processes, expectations and that all associated employee procedures are adhered to.
Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to the Operations Manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity.

Main skills/ experience

You will have prior experience working in a leadership role within food Warehousing and Distribution
Proven solid understanding of Food Warehousing and distribution
Good understanding of Health and Safety in the working environment
Highly organised with great attention to detail.
Proven examples of exceeding KPI targets and motivating a team
Strong stakeholder management with the ability to manage crossfunctional teams
Driven to achieve targets daily
