We are now looking for a number of nightshift Warehouse Operatives to join our Erith site, working 40 hours a week between the hours of 10pm - 8.30am on Monday - Friday.

The Role


As a Warehouse Operative, you will undertake an array of warehousing activities at our site in Erith focusing on receiving, picking, allocating, replenishment and dispatching of goods.

Working safely at all times, you will follow processes and policies to ensure a positive health and safety environment. You will seek to improve efficiency and processes where possible and communicate any concerns clearly to your line manager.

Additionally, you will carry out regular checks on equipment and highlight any defects.

About You


To be considered as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

  • Previous warehouse experience (including handling goods up to 15kg (as well as two-person handling)
  • Be able to count stock accurately
  • Preferably have experience of using scanning devices
  • Awareness of manual handling techniques
  • To accurately count stock both manually and with the use of a scanning device
  • The ability to withstand pressure and work to tight deadlines
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Good level of communication, including a good understanding of both written and verbal English
