Due to ongoing growth, HMH in Aberdeenshire are seeking Machinists to join the existing Workshop team.To be successful in this CNC Machinist role you will have a sound machining background, be confident in programming CNC mills and lathes, and working within tight tolerances.
Main Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines including VTL to produce products that meet required specifications
- Perform work in compliance with all safety, environmental and quality expectations whilst supporting a production schedule
- Accurately complete all required documentation
- Inspect and ensure all dimensions are within print specifications and report any nonconformities
Qualifications and Skills:
- Time served Machinist or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of CNC machine controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak or equivalent is essential for this role
- Demonstrable knowledge of cutting tools, processes, hand tools and measuring equipment
- Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
