Due to ongoing growth, HMH in Aberdeenshire are seeking Machinists to join the existing Workshop team.

To be successful in this CNC Machinist role you will have a sound machining background, be confident in programming CNC mills and lathes, and working within tight tolerances.

Main Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines including VTL to produce products that meet required specifications
Perform work in compliance with all safety, environmental and quality expectations whilst supporting a production schedule
Accurately complete all required documentation
Inspect and ensure all dimensions are within print specifications and report any nonconformities

Qualifications and Skills:

Time served Machinist or equivalent qualification.
Experience of CNC machine controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak or equivalent is essential for this role
Demonstrable knowledge of cutting tools, processes, hand tools and measuring equipment
Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
